I used to be a teacher of French literature, and I had learned Latin and Greek - very useful of course to discover new friends anywhere! Now I am retired, and I try to travel all over the world, so I wish to understand a little English, and perhaps one day to speak as well! I admit I was very skeptical, being the old teacher that I am, that I could make real progress with a computer. Oh how I was wrong! But there's no shame in being wrong. With Gymglish, you learn with a smile, the scenes are fun, anchored in a contemporary world, far from Carpentie-Fialip, the textbook of my youth. We end up wanting to get a good score, just to please the computer! And the days "without" it feels like there is something missing! In short, my level is still quite alarming but I have better things to do than cry over it! Thank you to this brilliant team— eliane b. (fontaine les dijon, FRANCE)
